PoppedHood (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates poppedhood.com, a directory of classic car service providers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information we collect
Provider accounts
When you claim or submit a business listing, we collect your email address and a password. This information is used solely to authenticate you and associate you with your listing. We do not sell this information.
Business listing information
Information you provide about your business — including name, address, phone number, website, and description — is displayed publicly in the directory. Do not submit information you do not want publicly visible.
Usage data
Our hosting provider (Vercel) collects standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security and performance monitoring and is governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Authentication: When you sign in to manage your listing, we store a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and cannot be opted out of while signed in.
- Advertising: We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data retention
Provider account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Listing information is retained for as long as the listing is in the directory. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Opt out of personalized advertising (see Cookies section above)
Children's privacy
PoppedHood is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
